It was the first synthetic blue pigment to be produced after the Egyptian Lapis blue. With the pleasing subtle lustre of good quality linen but otherwise almost like a powdered blue pigment in appearance. Navy Blue and indigo tones are classics- easily styled in both formal and less formal styles.

Prussian Blueis woven from fine linen and cotton yarns in a close flat weave which presents itself with a wonderfully even, cross-hatched, (slightly lustrous) slubbed effect.
