The mittens are constructed of 4 layers and they are seriously the warmest cosiest mittens you will have ever put your hands in. They are perfect for those super cold days in the Southern and inland parts of Australia definitely not recommended in Queensland
This design is inspired by the Swedish song The maiden in the ring written by HugoAlvin one of Swedens most prominent romantic composers. This song is always sung at Christmas while dancing around the Christmas tree, one of my most favourite memories of living in Sweden! Designer se jbro has created this pattern showing high step dancers and was inspired from her memories of dancing around the Christmas tree with all of her family when she was a child. She wanted to be able toshare this warm memory through her knitting.
